Diary 215: An Easter Week in Uddevalla, Sweden

Today is my last day here in my former home town:( I have been so lucky with the weather, sunshine every day which = beautiful morning walks with music.

A Morning in Uddevalla, Sweden

It is SUNNY here:)

Took a long walk before heading back to my Mother's house. Since I have moved back and forth a few times in my life I have a Lot of storage...!! At the moment I am going through all my lovely magazines, saving a few & ripping apart a few for my collages:)) off to meet friends soon!
Yes it is EASTER!!! Ran into some lovely children dressed up as cute witches, fell in love with their teacher whom looked adorable.

Fifi Lapin's book What Shall I Wear Today is a lovely lovely illustrated book full of tips & ideas on how to get dressed every morning & for any event one might encounter. I bought it a while ago and I can not get enough inspiration from it.

Met Rhiannon (and her lovely mother)! We created The Flower Moon Child story together. Have not seen my film images yet but this is a tiny taste of my iPhone photos:) after the shoot I went back home to Dulwich, unpacked and then walked up to the wonderful bistro Franklins here in Dulwich to create my daily collage & to read the Sunday newspapers.....still here:)

Inspiration Friday is Sibylle Bergemann

A couple of years ago I was in New York on vacation, it was my last day and I went to the International Center of Photography and its bookshop. There I found this book that I fell madly in love with, started to take iPhone images out of the book and took so many snaps that the store lady came up to me to say that I was not allowed to photograph the whole book, ohlalala. I bought that book a week ago at The National Portrait Gallery so I now own it:))

They way I felt when I found her book, is how I want for other people to feel when they see my creations. That is my goal.

Sibylle Bergemann (1941-2010) was a German photographer. 

So much work of Sibylle to show but I decided on these ones. Some people argue that her most important works are the black & white photographs she captured from everyday life in East Germany. One link to other amazing photos she created can be seen on Art Net.com.
