Today I Am A Granny Fairy Gredelin

Today I have a Sunshine Outfit because of the rain! Rain needs to be fought by cuteness and by granny fairies.

Plus a little taste of my cut and paste collages I have created so far of my 365 day project:))) hope you like (some more here & iPad style here)!

Beyond Retro flowery dress & dotted cardie

H&M gold belt

"You must not fear, hold back, count or be a miser with your thoughts and feelings. It is also true that creation comes from an overflow, so you have to learn to intake, to imbibe, to nourish yourself and not be afraid of fullness. The fullness is like a tidal wave which then carries you, sweeps you into experience and into writing. Permit yourself to flow and overflow, allow for the rise in temperature, all the expansions and intensifications. Something is always born of excess: great art was born of great terrors, great loneliness, great inhibitions, instabilities, and it always balances them. If it seems to you that I move in a world of certitudes, you, par contre, must benefit from the great privilege of youth, which is that you move in a world of mysteries. But both must be ruled by faith."

"I Disregard the Proportions, the Measures, the Tempo of the Ordinary World...!"

"I disregard the proportions, the measures, the tempo of the ordinary world. I refuse to live in the ordinary world as ordinary women. To enter ordinary relationships. I want ecstasy. I am a neurotic — in the sense that I live in my world. I will not adjust myself to the world. I am adjusted to myself. - Anaïs Nin"

AMEN

a couple of things out of the blue;):
My female role models whom happen to be my mom, aunt and grandma tried to stop me out of love to move anywhere else than close to home/ near them...but what happened was this: their love gave me strength to think I could conquer the world:))) I think they regret this now hahah. or not.

you might wonder about the various personas:) well my mom started that one. when I was a tiny little girl my mom always gave me stories about these other girls that had taken over my persona...and of course it won me over and I was in her hands haha.It made me angry but at the same time I was laughing so hard at all its silliness:)))

An Anais Nin Outfit:

Anna Sui flowery dress
grandmas heart
vintage bangles & barrette
Beyond Retro cardie
Burberry flats

"Are you in earnest? Seize this very minute:
What you can do, or dream you can, begin it;
Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.
Only engage and then the mind grows heated;
Begin and then the work will be completed."
–Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
I am sending Love to My Dearest Jaime:)) I am so happy to have you as my friend. Thank you for Saturday.

a monday morning note;0) and this is the type of blog post I will create after 3 large glasses of white wine:))) and yes I have edited down the text haha. But mainly the post is the same, I want to keep it authentic no matter what state I am in.., only shorter and hopefully with correct spelling.

Diary 228: Love, Inspirations & Wonders = A Sheer Joyful Week

Soon August! and we in London have been so adorably lucky with Sunshine almost all of July:)) It has made ALL the difference. August means that my Fairy Pagan Poetry Tale art project is coming to an end but it only means a new one is to be happening:)))

Last week I went to Richmond, Central London & I took a walk along The Thames River among many other things.

My main main day was Saturday though when I went to my Dear friend Jaime's Garden Party in Tunbridge Wells. I met some new lovely people:))) And got to see & DEVOUR such beauty. I will do a full blog post on only this day later in the week.

top to bottom: 1&2 a couple of snaps from the castle garden party where I met this adorable girl whom here shows sheer love to her baby sister hahaha whom seems to be a  tiny bit reluctant to the hug:)))) so cute. The roses are Jaime's in her wonderful kitchen. More to come from this day. 3 I started to draw and I am finding my Gredelin Graddnos. Here are some inspirations for my project. 4&5 collage making at Franklins. 6&7 Richmond. 8 Me on the day I needed grandma protection so I was wearing her dress and as almost always her gold heart necklace. 9 Me in my dear dear Vivetta dress & Screaming Mimis sunnies being Super Happy, this was yesterday. 10 On my way to the very cool bar Franks in Peckham, the sign says to take a right;))) In a Barbara Hulanicki for Top Shop playsuit.

How I Have Felt For The Most Part This Summer (repeat repeat...):

“What can I do with my happiness? How can I keep it, conceal it, bury it where I may never lose it? I want to kneel as it falls over me like rain, gather it up with lace and silk, and press it over myself again.”
-Anais Nin

Happy Beautiful Monday To You:)))

A Thursday & Some Inspirations

"For what it’s worth: it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you find you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over again."- F. Scott Fitzgerald
 Stay Original.
I met my friend Nils yesterday, we had a picnic in Green Park:) I have not been on a picnic since I saw him last and that was a year ago!!! Forgot to take pictures. Before & after I met him I felt like I was all over central London:)) I had to get more film for my art project & mustard from the Swedish Church that happened to be closed:( But we do have a Swedish shop called Totally Swedish so I was saved haha.
When back home in Dulwich I sat down at the East Dulwich Tavern and went through Tumblr a tiny bit. I found these inspiration images:))) They are all taken from Coquette Journal.
Images: 1 clockwise from top left: flowers at Liberty. A lovely pub on Great Marlborough Street. Inside Fortnum & Mason. Outside Liberty beauty. 2 Inspirations from Coquette Journal.
I am off to Richmond to hopefully see some deers:)))

A Tiny Sneak Peek of My 365 Day Project:)

As I am sure you know, I am creating one collage a day for a whole year. I started on Valentine's Day:) I do not always have the time to do the real wonderful cut & paste ones from all my tears & scraps with drawings so then I am doing one on my iPad, 7 of these you can view HERE.

One more of these and I have filled 2 books:)))

I find this quote from Håkan Hellström's "Du kanske aldrig får den du vill få,men du får migSo Beautiful:

"Och om du någonsin vill ha en idiot
Lägg din hand i min, lägg din hand i min
Du kanske aldrig når dit du vill nå
men du når mig

Du kanske aldrig får den du vill få
men du får mig"

Some Snaps From Yesterday (and a hilarious tiny cute Graddnos drawing...)!

"Barnen där i stan skulle ha blivit lika förvånade, om de fått se Tant Gredelin i en grön klänning eller Tant Brun i en gredelin, som du skulle ha blivit, om du fått se gula blåklockor och blå maskrosor."
-Elsa Beskow's Tant GrönTant Brun och Tant Gredelin

A Monday: Before I met with Jenny yesterday, I took a tiny trip to The Albion which has the cutest pastries. While walking around Shoreditch I came across this sign:). me wearing a Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress and vintage bangles with my Franklins Farmshop carry bag. I am drawing drawing learning learing finding finding my own little Lady Lavender ( Tant Gredelin that I, or rather my aunt, have renamed to Gredelin Graddnos haha).
